In 2016 the first GPT took place in Frankfurt am Main. 3 teams competed for the title of the national physics champion. Last year’s winning team was granted the right to represent Germany at the IPT 2017 in Gothenburg, Sweden. After several tough fights, thrilling discussions and interesting encounters Germany managed to finish 7th of 18 teams. In 2016 in Paris, France the German team managed to finish 5th of 15 teams.
We gladly announce that this team together with the jDPG and DPG is going to host the upcoming 2nd GPT in Frankfurt am Main. We hope to establish a new tradition and that further GPTs will be hosted in Germany.
